Some of the symptoms of rabies are confusion, agitation, abnormal behavior, paranoia and delerium. If you have watched Malkin on Fox or read her blog you may have noticed that she expresses these symptoms quite often. I’m not saying that she’s a “girl dog” who never got her vaccinations, but she acts pretty rabid on a regular basis.
The latest row over SCHIP (State Children’s Health Insurance Program) brought out the worst in Malkin. She tried to swiftboat a 12 year old. The Democrats used 12 year old Graeme Frost in an ad about SCHIP to help gain support for new child health care legislation. Graeme Frost’s uninsured family used this program when Graeme suffered brain injuries in a car crash. Malkin and others wrongly accused the Frost family of living in luxury and being able to afford to send their children to privates schools, thus taking advantage of SCHIP. From ThinkProgress.org:
The smear attack against Graeme has taken firm hold in the right-wing blogosphere. The National Review, Michelle Malkin, Wizbang, Powerline, and the Weekly Standard blog have all launched assaults on the Frost family. The story is slowly working its way into traditional media outlets as well.
Here are the facts that the right-wing distorted in order to attack young Graeme:
1) Graeme has a scholarship to a private school. The school costs $15K a year, but the family only pays $500 a year.
2) His sister Gemma attends another private school to help her with the brain injuries that occurred due to her accident. The school costs $23,000 a year, but the state pays the entire cost.
3) They bought their “lavish house” sixteen years ago for $55,000 at a time when the neighborhood was less than safe.
4) Last year, the Frosts made $45,000 combined. Over the past few years they have made no more than $50,000 combined.
5) The state of Maryland has found them eligible to participate in the CHIP program.
Malkin even went out to the Frost’s house to harass them. She seems like she’s trying to prove herself in some way. Perhaps she wants to be the next Ann Coulter. I read a great diary on DailyKos the other day about why Coulter is better than Malkin. In essence it says that Coulter is better because she knows what she is doing is a big joke. She will rarely get in a shouting match to make her point. Malkin is dead serious about her ambition. She comes after you and berates you. She’ll scream, get in feuds and hold grudges. She’s having problems with Geraldo Rivera at the moment. She refuses to go on “O’Reilly Factor” because of him. Maybe Coulter is putting on an act. It’s not a good one. Malkin is just downright horrible. Maybe even dangerous. There’s a bicycle built for two waiting for them in hell.
Both houses of Congress passed the national healthcare for children legislation. Of course, Bush vetoed it. So I guess Malkin got what she wanted. Give the dog a bone….call animal control!!!
