Romney: conservative, moderate, lifelong hunter, astronaut.

Mitt Romney has suspended his presidential campaign. With all of his money, he couldn’t compete with John McCain. Romney could barely compete with Huckabee and Huckabee has about $15 bucks to spend on his campaign. The strategy seems to be that if Romney stays in the race any longer, he’ll ruin his chances for a presidential campaign run in the future.

It looks like Mitt will be going back to planet Kolob to regroup and consult with God. Planet Kolob you ask?

“In the Latter Day Saint movement, Kolob is a star or planet mentioned in the Book of Abraham as being nearest to the throne or residence of God.”

Mormons really believe in this. From Wikipedia:

According to the literal interpretation, Kolob is an actual star in this universe that is near to, or perhaps the sun of, the physical throne of God. If he’s lucky he might get to be President of Kolob. In four years he’ll have the experience to lead from day one. Unfortunately for him, the Democratic President should be in his or her second term. Sorry Mitt.
