Candidates give money back to those they don't want support from. It is the right thing to do. They do it all the time.

As for your other points you provide no documentation to back up your claims.

How is Ron Paul's campaign doing? Has he locked up the nomination yet? If he's so mainstream he should have grabbed the Republican nomination.

The Ron Paulbots have given me a hard time on other websites when I have posted against his ideas. Forgive me if I'm gloating. I'm glad Paul can drift back to obscurity. The country will be a better place with him out of the limelight. Libertarians should be angry with him since they donated so much money to him without any results. They had to pay taxes and donate to a dud campaign. What a waste of money.

I may be a little late to the party, but your analysis is wrong. Dr. Paul has demonstrated that he does not share the same beliefs of the "neo-nazis" that support him, and giving their money back to them would be stupid. What do you think they'd do with it? I don't know about you, but I'd rather that money be in the hands of someone like Ron Paul than back in the hands of David Duke and his ilk. Many "white supremacists" support Dr. Paul for his stance on border security and birthright citizenship, neither of which are out of the mainstream. Rather than simply asserting your opposition, why not provide a viable argument against them?

His position on the Fed is grounded in reason and sound Constitutional principles. He predicted long ago that removing the gold standard from our currency would result in rampant inflation and government abuse. Even Alan Greenspan shares Dr. Paul's position that gold based currency is better than fiat money, and they agreed that the Fed should have a sunset clause in its charter that requires it to be continually re-approved. If that makes Ron Paul looney, then what does it say about Greenspan?

The IRS is an innefficient bureaucratic institution that exists primarily to pay down the interest on our ballooning national debt, which Dr. Paul has been a constant opponent of. Bringing our troops home, not just from Iraq, but from the other hundreds of overseas outposts around the world they are currently deployed to would save a lot of money and our enourmous budget and debt would become much more managable.

Finally, while he is personally pro-choice, he has repeatedly taken the position that it is not a federal government matter. STATES should be the ones to determine proper medical procedures, as the 10th amendment and Ron Paul says. Considering the President swears to uphold the Constitution of the United States, it would be wise to verse yourself in what it says before trying to determine who the best President would be, don't you agree?

Mitt Romney has suspended his presidential campaign. With all of his money, he couldn’t compete with John McCain. It looks like Mitt will be going back to planet Kolob to regroup and consult with God. Planet Kolob you ask?...
